The Senquip ORB is designed to connect to industrial sensors or systems, allowing remote sensor data to be available anywhere in the world. Onboard sensors include GPS for position and speed, Bluetooth for wireless sensors, accelerometer for pitch, roll, movement, and vibration, temperature, pressure and tamper. Interfaces are provided for analog voltage, switch position, pulse, frequency, duty cycle, RS232, RS485, MODBUS, CAN-Bus, 4-20mA, outputs. Customers can write their own scripts to manipulate measurements, create complex alerts and control devices connected to an ORB. The ORB-C1-H communicates on Wi-Fi and 2G, 3G and 4G LTE CAT-1. The ORB can be powered by 10-75V DC, solar or AA batteries. When using solar, the regulator and rechargeable battery are built into the ORB. The enclosure is rugged and it is expected that ORBs are used in harsh environments like mining, industrial, and transport. Pole, wall, bulkhead and magnetic mounting systems are available.
