Training

Device Integration

Cumulocity offers several out-of-the-box options for connecting devices.

This training provides an overview of these options, followed by detailed instructions on each.

thin-edge.io

This training introduces you to thin-edge.io, guiding you through installation, device connection, management, and monitoring.

The process and features will be demonstrated using a Raspberry Pi.

LWM2M

In this eLearning, you’ll get a brief introduction to the LWM2M protocol, its interfaces, and data model.

After covering the basics, a demonstration will show how LWM2M devices communicate with the Cumulocity platform.

MQTT

This eLearning covers using MQTT to connect various devices to Cumulocity.

You’ll see a hands-on example of connecting a microcontroller board with a temperature and humidity sensor to Cumulocity.

LPWAN

LPWAN (Low Power Wide Area Network) enables long-range communications for devices.

In this eLearning, you’ll get an introduction to LPWAN and learn about Cumulocity’s supported LPWAN platform integrations, including how to map device uplink hexadecimal data to Cumulocity.

OPC-UA

This training starts with an introduction to OPC-UA, then walks you through setting up an OPC-UA gateway, connecting to an OPC-UA server, and mapping data into Cumulocity.
